I get it from Malcolm

(dislaimer: this was created late on May 19th. Judging by east coast time may be why it says the 20th)

“We will kill you, for our women I’m making it plain yes, we will kill you for our women”
-Malcom X

Happy Malcolm X day y’all. He would have been 95 today. Was thinking about checking the Netflix doc on his assassination again but it just makes my stomach boil too much. He put his life on the line for us and it’s like no one cared about him. How were all those informants on his “team?” Smh smh smh, that was so sad. Maybe check the Denzel movie since it’s been a min but that’s Denzel and not Malcolm. It’s very personal for me when it comes to Malcolm as his book worked as a red pill in this matrix for me as well as for many others and works as a foundation I built my life on after it sparked me to learn about who I was and put me on the path of knowledge of self. Applying what I learned from him has brought opposition against me from others that look like me when I use what I learned from him to build on or teach. These same folk that enjoy causing trouble among the righteous will today make posts honoring the man when if he was alive they would call him a hater, homophobe or a hotep which is an Egyptian word meaning peace, like that’s a bad thing, smh. Saw a vid that Hot 97 had paying tribute to Malcolm X, ha! Did I watch it? Of course not, what Rosenberg gonna tell me about Malcolm? This the same guy who had issues with other students of Malcolm in Jay Electronica and Chuck D.

The so called Black feminists that put the feminist movement before the Black movement posting about him and honoring him would say he is an example of “toxic masculinity” (and you thought “mansplaining” was an absurd term) when he critiques sistas acting uncivilized or other than themselves and they would probably bring up that he was a pimp when that aint got a damn thing to do with the critique. What would Betty Shabazz (RIP) or any of Malcolm’s daughters say if you asked them if he was toxic? Muthafuckaz make me sick! Saw a tweet by Ava Duvernay honoring Malcolm. She could have done that better in her movie Selma by presenting a more accurate portrayal of Malcolm. I’m sure she’s christian. I could be wrong, won’t be the first or last time. It’s cool to like Malcolm now though, cause he’s not here anymore. That’s that bs. I don’t want anyone giving me grief while I’m here saying any nice things when I’m gone and talking like we were friends. I hope they keep that same energy with their bitch ass.

In his eulogy of Malcolm, Ossie Davis said Malcolm was our Black manhood. I agree. Homeschooling my son I had him read his autobiography twice over the years as again I feel it is another rites of passage for our young brothers, not only that but many sistas have told me how the book changed their lives and put them on the path as well. These days more and more folk are becoming enlightened via musings of individuals’ youtube vids that delve into metaphysics or esoteric sciences though, and they tend to be just as much off the deep end as the folk they are getting the info from. How THAT got to them but studying Malcolm was something they bypassed is beyond me but there are many paths that lead to enlightenment and everything does not resonate with people the same. I just feel there are levels and some are jumping into the deep end before they even learn how to crawl let alone swim. I rather stick to studying those THAT GOT ISH DONE like Malcolm Garvey and Huey who you can see the fruits of their labor and have a lasting legacy vs all these youtube scholars that like to hear themselves talk or playback their vids to look at themselves all day.

When you are like Malcolm you are a threat because you are a Black man. Let me explain, not “mansplain”, but explain to y’all what that is especially for those who are NOT a Black man. (Just to be clear men do not have vaginas, sad I have to say that) TRADITIONALLY, a Black man grew up in a house with a father, another Black man, in this case Malcolm’s father was a Garveyite. Usually this father in the house set rules, boundaries, standards and principles and wouldn’t just let any ol thing up in the house, ya heard me? You couldn’t just play any music around that man, you couldn’t just talk any way around or to that man. For the people who never had a father in the house, try to keep up, I’m giving you gold here. He demanded respect and you would respect what he said goes. He stood for something, he had a position. You couldn’t just have any type of lifestyle in his house. He taught you how to behave, act at home and abroad and live a certain way and you better do it or he would serve justice. You were his legacy and he was going to make sure you didn’t taint it and that you kept it going in a right(eous) and exact way. It was a matter of life and death and making sure you knew how to move in a room full of vultures. Despite having this father in the house many of us still fall off the path. In both mine and Malcolm’s lives we both lost our fathers before we really became a man and would find ourselves locked in cages like animals later in life and because we know how important it is to be a man and set those rules to help prevent our youth from falling victim, we stand firm in that ish and could give a fuck what some weak muthafucka got to say about it because we know the cost while they just playing around like life is a game and think everything is fine and anything goes, straight chaos and confusion, no discipline. Children out here don’t even know what their gender is now because, “gender is a construct” as Issa Rae’s dumb ass character said in a recent ep of Insecure. For the uninitiated, Insecure is a show where the main character was with a good man for 5 years, cheated on him with a pretty lame ass music producer, ended up getting upset when that same clown busted a nut in her eye and ended up staying with him on his couch for a period of time and more recently was letting a gross fat slob bang her out so she could get some weed. Yeah, she hella messy. Hopefully we have more Claire Huxtable types having babies and hopefully the Issas will close thier legs before they have an accident baby in which no man will be around because no man trying to raise a family with a sista like that! Many love the show and love the character though, it’s a hit, go figure.

N E wayz, got dayum it, you a Black man you cannot run in your neighborhood, walk in your neighborhood after buying some snacks at the store in a hoodie, sell cds or cigarettes or show your licensed to carry gun in your car in this wack ass reality without a high chance of being killed due to the intimidation factor of being a true and living god breathing the air on this planet and we have a duty that idiots don’t understand because they are uncivilized and anything you say that rubs them the wrong way they have to TRY to bring you down to their level to make themselves feel better about themselves with their more than happy to be ratched asses that they celebrate with pride. I been dealing with this shit since I was 13 years old so I see these sellout muthafuckaz a mile away and know them better than they know themselves but they just peons looking for crumbs on the ground when you above the clouds. If that is arrogant, well got dayum, arrogance must be a good thing, lol. But seriously….a Black man is going to be a Black man and you can’t change that.

I used to feel sorry for people when I would hit them with hard truth and they would be on the verge of tears arguing against the truth I shared so I loosened my grip on how hard I would go as far as teaching once upon a time because I didn’t want to be that guy but FUCK DAT! Not anymore, I see what has happened by us loosening up our grip and I take full responsibility for my participation in it because my father taught me better, Malcolm taught me better. I gotta keep it TRUE, that fake ish is too hard for me, was never good at that. Nothing Malcolm Garvey Huey about that. Folk got the game all twisted, especially sistas wanting men to be tolerant of their debauchery and ratchedness or ok with it and accept it. WTF!? We trying to build strong empires and dynasties and a lasting legacy, we need our sisters to be just as superb as us to procreate with. What happened to striving for perfection? What happened to refinement?

“What are we doin what are we doin oh yeah what about let’s get free taking care of family this is the song of my life man
Cause all I know to be is a soldier for my culture…..

-dead prez/ Far From Over

This is what Malcolm taught and this is the problem with sistas that bitch about being single and say there are no good men (first off lets get one thing clear, there are plenty of good men that represent that same Black manhood as Malcolm X. These sistas just don’t like them) and having so many male friends that frequent gay bars who “Yass bitch” and “mmm girl” all their fuckery or them not being able to decide if they like men or women is not helping. You a sista and want to be involved with a woman and then start building with a man you gonna be in for a rude awakening because men move different, WE’RE DIFFERENT. They used to dealing with some other ish. When you get accustomed to the others and then can’t figure out why you failing with the brothers? These sistas have been so used to being around their other male friends that when they get around the original Asiatic Black man that knows who he is, it’s completely foreign to them so they don’t know how to react or respond but that is something they are going to have to work out because brothas like myself are not providing any disclaimers anymore for who they are or trying to tone it down to make you feel better about yourself. We are unapologetically Black and that is never going to change, even if the only type of Black man that is respected these days and can “be themselves” is a gay Black man. You can’t have a position against any bs sistas like to entertain, you can’t have a position period! I have a position in life and I’m not budging for anyone so they can feel comfortable. Malcolm IS the blueprint for many of us and folk just going to have to learn to DEAL widdit!

Anyways, just had to get that off my chest cause I’m so tired of the fake shit. All these people you see honoring Malcolm, ask yourself what qualities do they have of Malcolm? What do they apply that he taught? They faker than Nola Darling having a painting of Malcolm in her apartment. Malcolm was about nation building, man woman and child, he was about family and unity. None of that messy ish and independent island mentality many of us been tricked into believing is the way to go. Gotta love capitalism. Don’t be messy yall, be like Malcolm, build a legacy and build nations. Produce Black babies and raise them well….together! Man…woman….and child. PEACE
